FAQs
1. Are the church and reception venue far apart from each other? How much travel time should we allot?
San Antonio de Padua (church) and Abagatan ti Manila (reception) are only a 10-minute drive from each other. The church is along the Tagaytay-Nasugbu highway, just a little past the Nasugbu welcome arch.
Abagatan, meanwhile, is along the same highway but on the Tagaytay side, near Twin Lakes! (refer to the map section for more details)
2. Are there ample parking spaces at the church and reception venues?
Yes to both! Both San Antonio de Padua and Abagatan have huge parking lots which should be able to accommodate all our guests on the wedding day.
3. We're looking for a place to stay after the reception. Do you have recommendations?
Since the wedding is in Tagaytay, there are already plenty of options on where to stay! Our first recommendation though is the venue for the reception itself - Abagatan ti Manila. It is a nice hotel with lots of open space and lush greeneries. It will also be the most convenient option, so that you can spend more time having fun at the celebration and less on the road!
4. The church ceremony is in the morning! Will there be a gap between the ceremony and reception?
None! The church ceremony will be from 11AM - 1PM, after which cocktails will be served and ready at the reception venue from 1PM onwards. Doors to the ballroom will be opened at 2PM and reception proper will start at 3PM.
In other words, no need to head elsewhere after the church ceremony! You can head straight to Abagatan and even check in your stuff if you're spending the night there.
And don't worry! We've made sure that you will not go hungry or thirsty at any point of the day!
5. Can we bring our kids? How about our plus ones? Pets?
Inasmuch as we want to celebrate with everybody, we request that our guest list be followed and attendees be only from this list.
Pets are allowed in Abagatan for a fee if you are checked in there. Just reach out to their reservations team for more details.
6. Do you have a gift registry?
Having you present on our wedding day is already our pleasure, but should you wish to honor us with a gift, a cash contribution to help us settle into our new life together would be gratefully received. Please refer to the "Gifts" section of the website for more details.
